Before the summer I was researching genre’s of music and the style of video’s which are produced to accompany the specific artists.
I researched local unsigned bands as I was hoping to film or photograph them at gigs and performances to improve my work and the ideas behind the video.
During the summer I emailed the band to obtain permission to use one of their songs. they send me new recording before they’ve been released and i chose one particular song to work with.
The have agreed to work with e and feature in the video so I can get good performance footage.
I went to one of their gigs and spoke to them in person to meet them and confirm my idea of the project.
By the end of this month I will go watch them perform again but use my photography skills to capture them in action ad study the style of the band.
I have look at the lyrics and will analyse them to create a story behind the song.
I will also interview the band to their meanings behind the lyrics
